⛔ House Rules
❌ Prohibited Customisation:
Certain customisations that are prohibited are as followed but not limited too: Unauthorised Copyrighted Imagery, Racist Iconography, Illegal or Criminal Imagery, Homophobic Iconography, Nudity/Sexual Imagery without Consent, Imagery of Violent (In an abuse context) or Cruel Acts including People and/or Animals.
✅ For Nudity with Consent, you must have/be:
- 1. All individuals in the imagery must be over the age of 21.
- 2. You must provide written consent from all individuals depicted (including yourself, if applicable).
- 3. You must submit proof of age, such as a valid driver’s license, for all individuals in the imagery.
✅ Acceptable imagery of violence are:
- Historic Battle Paintings such as Waterloo.
- Allied or Soviet icons and imagery from WW2.
- Fiction such as Warhammer 40K, Lord of the Rings, Star Trek etc.
- Wild life photography and natural animalistic behaviour.
- Artistic Violence not aimed at any real individual or group.

Despite pointing out acceptations, we reserve the right to decline orders on a case-by-case basis and is at our discretion. You will be notified of any rejection of your order.
⚖️ Terms and Legalities
⚫ General
Definitions: "We", "us", "our" refer to COLUMN® C.I. "You", "your", "user" refer to the customer or website visitor. "Product" refers to any personalised jewellery item sold on our website.
Eligibility: You must be at least 16 years old to make a purchase on our website.
⚫ Handmade Declaration
All jewellery items are handmade (manually manufactured) by COLUMN® JEWELLERY ENGRAVERS (Non-Public Trade) on behalf of JEWELLERYENGRAVERS.COM (Public/Online Retail). Engraving services are also provided by COLUMN® JEWELLERY ENGRAVERS; however, please note that the engraving process is not done by hand, as this would not be feasible.
⚫ Orders and Payment
Order Process: Orders can be placed through our website by following the instructions provided. All orders are subject to acceptance and availability.
Pricing and Payment: Prices are listed in GBP (£) and include VAT where applicable. Payment can be made through the methods specified on our website. Full payment is required at the time of order placement.
Order Confirmation: Your order constitutes an offer to purchase. We will confirm receipt of your order via email, but a binding contract is only formed when we accept and process payment, or upon dispatch of your product.
⚫ Personalisation and Uploads
Engravings and Customisation: You can provide text or images for engraving during the order process. Please ensure that all information is accurate and free from any prohibited content.
Photo Uploads: Users may upload photos for customisation purposes. By uploading photos, you confirm that you own the rights to the images or have obtained permission to use them. We reserve the right to reject any images that are deemed inappropriate or infringe on intellectual property rights.
⚫ Delivery
Shipping: We deliver to addresses in the UK, US, EU and Parts of East Asia. Delivery times and charges vary based on the destination and shipping method selected.
Delays: We are not responsible for delays caused by circumstances beyond our control, such as customs delays or postal strikes.
⚫ Returns and Refunds
1. Non-Returnable Items (Personalised Jewellery)
Returns & Replacement Policy for Personalised Jewellery
Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, personalised or custom-made jewellery is exempt from the standard 14-day return period. As each item is uniquely crafted to the customer’s specifications, we do not accept refunds for personalised items unless they are faulty, not as described, or do not match the agreed specifications.
However, as a matter of goodwill, we offer all customers the option to request a replacement if they are unhappy with the final product. This policy applies only to cases of personal dissatisfaction and does not affect your legal rights regarding faulty or incorrect items.
To qualify for a replacement:
- The original item must be returned to us before a replacement is made.
- Customers must notify us within 30 days if they are dissatisfied with the customisation.
Important Notes:
Refunds are not granted based on personal preference if the item has been made correctly and is undamaged.
Under our company policy, you may return a customised item in exchange for a replacement within 30 days of purchase if you are unhappy with the design.
If the item is faulty or not as described, you are entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
Amazon, Etsy and Other Platform Orders:
For purchases made through third-party platforms (e.g., Amazon, Etsy), our return and replacement policy remains in effect, as these platforms recognize our approach to personalised items or have similar policies. Our policy is designed to be more flexible than standard marketplace policies, ensuring a fair resolution for customers. However, we still encourage reviewing the respective platform's policies, as certain processes (e.g., refund handling) may differ.
2. Faulty, Damaged on Arrival or Incorrect Items
If your jewellery arrives faulty, damaged, or incorrect, you are entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
If the issue is confirmed, we will cover reasonable return postage costs.
3. Cancellations & Order Changes
Due to the bespoke nature of our products, cancellations or modifications can only be made within 24 hours of placing the order. After this period, production begins, and changes may not be possible. If production has already started, we reserve the right to decline a cancellation or charge a cancellation fee to cover costs incurred
4. How to Request a Return
To report a faulty item, damage on arrival or incorrect customisation, please contact us directly through the website.
Once approved, we will provide return instructions.
5. Refund Processing
5-7 business days of receiving the returned item. Back to the original payment method.

Use of Customer Content: By submitting content for customisation, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, and modify the content for the purpose of fulfilling your order.

Exclusions: We do not exclude or limit liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for any other liability that cannot be excluded under UK law.
